1997 Hannovarian mare, 16.2hh. “Kimba” won the Rhinegold Young International Dressage Horse qualifier at Fry’s CDI in the UK in 2003 and went on to finish 9th at the finals of the British Young Horse Championship held at the European Championships at Hickstead. She returned to Hickstead a year later to win and place second in the medium and advanced medium classes and claim Reserve Champion in the Dressage Masters League. 2004 also saw her win the Irish National Medium Champinship and placed in the finals of the Owners Tour at the Sunshine Tour in Spain. In 2008 she claimed two more Irish National Championships - Advanced and PSG. Sadly, Kimba died in 2009 following an illness. She was a wonderful horse and reminds us of the highs and lows with our equine friends.
