The pair scored 64.7%, giving them their qualifying mark to represent Ireland at International level. Byrne plans to compete Egano, formerly the mount of Anne Marie Dunphy, at Addington CDI in April, with a view to qualifying for the Young Rider European Championships to be held in Holland later this summer.

Leinster Dressage is hosting a talk on riding freestyle dressage to music.

National and FEI Official International Para Equestrian Dressage Judge and trainer Alison Mastin-Moore will explain the rules and judging of freestyle and international rider and trainer Anne Marie Dunphy will explain how to go about preparing your routine and music.

This evening is aimed particularly at those who have not tried freestyle before

The talk will take place at the Horse Sport Ireland offices in Millennium Park, Osberstown, Naas, County Kildare (visit here for map) on Monday 9 March 2009, starting at 7pm.

Due to the limited space, places must be pre-booked. Tickets cost €10 for Dressage Ireland members and €15 for non-members.
